2010 WPS Draft

The 2010 WPS Draft will take place on Friday, January 15, in Philadelphia, PA at the 2010 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Annual Convention. The draft will begin at 10am ET in Room 201C at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and is open to the public. Preceding the draft, a roundtable will be held at 9am ET in Room 201C to discuss the league's progress and initiatives heading into its second season. The roundtable is open to the public. The 2010 WPS Draft consists of seven rounds and 65 picks overall as the two expansion teams, the Atlanta Beat and Philadelphia Independence, each received an extra selection at the end of the first round. The current draft order is as follows, barring any further trades (updated 1/07/10):
