Waking up on my own agenda, not to an alarm, and beginning the day at one of my favorite coffee shops (Peet’s or Wired Puppy).  Pretty much anything after that works for me.

Getting Silly With the Secretary of Defense: the Breakers' Amy Lepeilbet

A lighthearted Q&A with Amy Lepeilbet.

Chicago Suburb is Home to WPS Defender of the Year, Boston's LePeilbet

Interview with LePeilbet who recieved the honor of WPS Defender of the Year.

Amy LePeilbet has emerged as the shutdown defender the Breakers envisioned when she was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2009 Women’s Professional Soccer general draft.

Nature has made it such that women generally have less muscle around their knees than men do.  So whenever a female athlete—particularly a soccer player—goes down holding her knee, we all shudder as the worst possible scenario runs through our minds—the dreaded ACL tear!
