Opening Day Rosters Announced Across WPS

March 25 was the final day for teams to report their Opening Day rosters, which are a maximum of 18 players on each team’s roster + 4 developmental players. Several of the big names from the 1999 World Cup team made rosters, including Kristine Lilly (Boston), Briana Scurry (Washington), Brandi Chastain (FC Gold Pride) and Tiffany Milbrett (FC Gold Pride). Not surprisingly, among colleges, the University of North Carolina led all schools with 12 former players landing a place on WPS rosters or developmental slots. Notre Dame placed 10 players in the league.
 
A total of nine countries will be represented on WPS opening day rosters, along with the Americans, players are coming from from Brazil (9), Canada (7), Australia (5), England (5), Sweden (4), Japan (3), France (2), Scotland (1) and China (1).  Team-by-team rosters are listed by the links below:
