Personal:

Married to Espen Adreassen, a former football trainer with Kolbotn Women's Football Club. In June of 2008, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Theodor. Solveig is the daughter of former Norwegian footballer Terje Gulbrandsen and Inger Elise Johansen, a former Norweigian champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics.

1) What are the three things you can never be without while traveling?
Aside from my Husband and Son... I am never without my IPhone, toiletry bag and some money.

2) If you didn't play professional soccer, what other profession would you want to try?
That's a good question right now! Realistically, I would like to try to be a personal trainer. I think being a shrink would be interesting too, but only for a little while ;)

3) What's your perfect day off?
Spending time with my family, doing something fun with Theodor (my son) and hanging out with friends.

4) What famous person most inspires you?
OOH, there are a lot of inspiring people in the world! I recently finished a book about Lance Armstrong... He is inspiring!

5) If you had a dinner party, who are the four people you would invite (can be living or dead)?
Zinedine Zidane, Barak Obama, Will Smith and Robbie William

6) What's on your workout/pre-game iPod playlist?
I usually change it during the season, Gladiator by DJ Ruboy is always in my playlist!

7) What was your first job?
It was in a small firm where we made microfilms of documents. So I did a lot of copying and cutting...

8) When did you start playing soccer?
I started playing soccer as soon as I was old enough to play on a team, 6-7 years old. My first team was a boy's team.

10) What is your favorite thing about playing soccer?
I like everything about soccer! I love the game, the competition, the training, making new friends, getting to travel and getting to experience new things all the time!

11) Who is your favorite Soccer Player?
Zinedine Zidane

12) Who is your favorite non-WPS team?
Manchester United

13) If you had to sell all of your possessions, what is the one thing you couldn't part with?
My IPhone.

14) What is something you always have in your soccer bag?
I still use skinnpads with an ankle protector. All the players in Norway tell me they stopped using them when they were 10 years old. I think they might be a bit childish, but I can't play without them!!

15) If you were stranded on a deserted island with one of your current teammates, who would you want it to be and why?
I don't really know my teammates yet... The only player I have talked to and emailed with is Tiffeny Milbrett, so I think that would be a good choice!
